Interestingly enough when I met Karoline I had little interest in hockey. I grew up a baseball junkie and followed the Tigers.
That all changed in 1997 while I was dating Karoline and she took me to a Red WIngs game. Littledid I know at the time that she was a season ticket holder and that we would enjoy a lot of great games that year. That included the 1997 Stanley Cup Final which was won by Detroit, in Detroit. It was quitethe event inside Joe Louis Arena. Possibly the loudest event I have ever attended.
Since 97 the Wings have won the cup a few more times and they look good for another run as defending champions in 2009.
Just though I'd share a litle of Karolines favorite sport..... nest to motorsports of course :)
