October and the changing of the leaves! Sweetest day found Karoline and I hanging out with Marshall, Stacey and Eric from LSR Motorsports for another awesome day at the track and awesome weather.
I also had Marshall build a kart for former Trackoholics road racer and my good friend Dave Thiel and he joined me for a day of neck straining fun.
We had a great time, Eric LaLone multi time race winner and champion racer spent the day blasing around MRP's intense and awesome layout all day. Running with Eric is awesome. He is one of the better track instructors and has helped me a ton over the summer getting up to race pace. He is also a riot to watch as he is the ultimate curb clipper.
We probably ran close 80 or more laps by days end. Best of all was the price of admission. $35.00 to practice, $10.00 each for pit passes, which meant we spent $55.00 to run all day! You can't have this much fun that cheap in any other motorsports event! Karting is simply an awesome way to get your speed fix, on a realistic budget!!!

The MRP track has so many insane layouts that every time I go there I find a new challenge. I also want to thank the crew at MRP Motorsports for another kick ass day at their track. Great job guys and gals!
Best part of the day was that I finally brought my kart home. Ready to disassemble it over the winter for some upgrades and cleaning in preperation for next years karting season.
