This year Karoline and I decided to head down on Friday and watch the Red Bull Air Race practice sessions. The Detroit waterfront offers some awesome photo opportunities. You are right there. With the size of the river the planes are virtually on top of the spectators. On Sunday we headed down in our friend Rusty Hibbs sweet speed boat and watched from the water.
Got to hand to theses guys and gals, a lot of G and some spectacular flying. And it's next to FREE. WOW.
